SARVAM’s HOPE Programme brings the wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda to help understand Wellness and its importance in a School. It provides great insight in understanding the needs of children with special needs (SEN) or neurodiverse conditions.
H for Health
O for Opportunity
P for Personality
E for Education
Children with SEN are often subject to polarization and their parents always feel enormous pressure to bring about inclusivity and instill independence in their child’s lives. This Programme will help parents and children alike to bridge and reduce the gap in a pressure free environment focused on Wellness based Health.
Ayurveda based Health Analysis, includes a very elaborate and comprehensive study and discussion of the child’s medical history, of the neurodiverse condition, the environment they are currently in and the diet they follow.
Our Yoga based therapy will be the first and foremost intervention to improve the child’s health. The effectiveness of Yoga in improving general and specific health conditions of children with Special Needs is understated and little known. There is a whole world of possibilities that exist in this age-old practice of body movement which is applicable therapeutically for neurodiverse conditions.
Our other Therapies include Arts, Music, Dance and Occupational Therapy. These therapies will address areas of improvement identified during the Health Analysis at both the Fine and Gross Motor skills level.
Our faculty are proficient with Inclusivity and have been conducting Inclusive classrooms right from the founding years of the school. The HOPE Programme is designed to be availed by both students enrolled in SARVAM and students in other schools.
